I am trying to connect to the mosquito server over Vodafone CAT-M1 network but the call to AT+QMTOPEN always fails with +QIURC: "pdpdeact",1. Below are more details.
The device is able to register and connect to the CAT-M1 network giving the following for AT+COPS?
+COPS: 0,0,"Vodafone - Stay Kind DATA ONLY",8
OK
But the issue is when I try opening a socket using the AT+ QMTOPEN which returns OK and then I suddenly get a PDP deactivated URC as shown below. This is because the PDP context is being deactivated and I do not know what may be causing this. I was expecting to get +QMTOPEN: tcpid, result.
AT+QMTOPEN=0,"MyPlatform.com",8883
OK
+QIURC: "pdpdeact",1
[BG96] no response
MQTT server connect FAIL:
[BG96] ==> ERROR CODE: phone failure
POWERED DOWN
BG96 powered OFF!
When tried over 3G, the AT+QMTOPEN works and I am able to connect to the server via AT+QMTCONN. I am a bit lost here and looking to get some expert insights on how to trace the cause for this problem.
