What I want to do is somehow have the shelly sitting where the light switch would normally go sipping some power to keep itself going but also keep the smart bulb going or would I need to look at a shelly bypass

Doesn't work, you can't just stack two random dimming methods. Only one can be the dimmer and the other must be a remote for it.– Harper - Reinstate MonicaDec 20, 2022 at 8:00
